Went to the Witch Hat Atelier exhibit at Angouleme Comics Festival and I am not exaggerating that I think it has irrevocably changed how I want to approach art

Somehow all three of the pieces I entered into Infected By Art Volume 13 were accepted into the final publication?? ? 😮

Theres a lot of indepth world building in his books so the first half is typically pretty slow pacing wise. He's very big on having small throw away details turning into major plot points later on. Sanderlanche is a fairly popular term for his writing style for a reason
