Imagine if, instead of sitting in I-25 traffic, there was a train you could ride? 🛤️

House Bill 1001 passed committee 🎉 🎉 🎉 Thank you to the organizations who showed up to testify in support of the HOME Act yesterday. This bill will create more opportunities to fill the gap of 100,000 homes needed in Colorado.
@melodynosurname.bsky.social, can you address the allegations?

100% on this.
Our intercity buses are in a horrific state, and significant numbers of Americans rely on them for basic mobility.
Our government needs to step in to make intercity buses an actually viable mode of transport.
(TL;DR, nationalize Greyhound)
#preemable, I guess
Not quite sure if this is a word

i'm sorry, but i still seem to be trapped in the flesh prison they call my body
Just saw a great article featuring @milesintransit.com from the NYT! It's a fun read, and it's always neat to see one of my favorite Content™ creators in the news.

Saint Louis doesn't use block numbering on signage, and nobody uses it in conversation either, as far as I'm aware.
I wish I knew about this before someone, who wasn't me, there's no way I could have done this, made another RTD map ^^"

Denver uses block numbered signs, and I've always found them extremely useful for getting around
The East Colfax BRT project marches forward! Businesses west of Colorado Blvd can expect relief coming soon, with Phase 3 work planned to start this spring.
Once complete, the BRT will transform travel along Colfax and within the entire metro, and I, for one, can't wait to ride!
Long live the Wu-Tang Memorial Gravel Pit!
Additionally, buses will start using the new lanes and platforms ahead of the 2027 completion, with @rtd-denver.com planning to start provisional use in summer of 2026.
The November 2025 update for the East Colfax BRT project in Denver, Colorado. It shows various metrics, such as "Design percent complete" (96.26%), "Construction percent complete" (31.19%), "Construction expenditure to date" ($61.6 million out of $197.3 million expected), "Disadvantaged business enterprises", their design participation (26.5% out of a 25% goal), and their construction participation (18.1% out of a 16% goal). It also shows safety performance (149,610 safe working hours out of 375,000/3,734 safety training hours our of 18,000), and small business grants ($630 thousand, distributed to 47 small businesses)
The November construction update for @webackthefax.bsky.social has been released, and it's looking good! Construction's moving ahead right on schedule, and businesses east of Colorado Blvd can expect to see heavy construction wrapping up between this winter and spring of 2026.
What's the lore here? Not much for steam myself (I mean, it's cool, but nothing can beat an E-unit), but this is good-ass art, and the minuscule amount of information about the world you've built that I can get from this image makes me really interested in whatever you've got going on here ^^
Lifecycle of a Rockies game right there :(
Get this team out of the hands of their shitty management. @colorado.gov, nationalise them?
Representative Woodrow is an extremely competent politician, who has consistently spearheaded extremely important initiatives in the state legislature. He's been an extreme benefit to our state, and while I'm not proud of every Dem, I'm proud of him. I'm glad to live in his district.
Denver highs of 97°+ for 5 straight days is highly unusual: we’ve only done that 11 times in recorded history (since 1872).
That’s the @9NEWS forecast for this week.

When public media disappears, so do the stories that bring us together.
With federal funding eliminated, millions may lose their last trusted source of news and connection.

By the time you’ve rationalized voting for a guy who told 30,000 lies, tried to steal an election, was impeached twice, bragged about grabbing women by the p*ssy & mused about dating his own daughter you’ve probably made your peace with his friendship with America’s most notorious pedophile.

I'm gonna have to fact-check this. Impossible
why is this mayoral election different than all other mayoral elections?
in all other mayoral elections, we get to see andrew cuomo lose but once. but in this mayoral elections, we get to see him lose *twice*.

MAGA is so full of shit.
They talk about workers but just shill for corporations and billionaires.
And they know their followers are too dumb to figure it out because they’re brainwashed to blame liberals for everything.
