I remember. Mum got a uti and the idiot doctor didn't come out. Dad decided it was Mum's time to go - she's had a good innings he said so stopped food and water. I had a feeling and went over there. I called an ambulance. They lost all freedom and ended up in care. Guess who cleared the house. 😁

That's so sad. Because it's her you're trying to help. My parents hoarded. Dad had dementia and used to catch buses. Mum denied there was a problem. She was in a wheelchair in a high set house. Crap everywhere. She stopped letting me in the house. Bad doctor. It was awful.

I wonder. There's lots of levels of care that can be recommended by ACAT. The system is clogged up though. Your BIL would hate it because people would be in the house at different times. You must be so stressed by this and your poor sister must be feeling awful.

I wish I was more help. He sounds like he's in denial. I know you'll have thought about everything but is there a social worker? Does her doctor know all this? The kitchen being unusable sounds a bit like he's really struggling.

I didn't read it that way - but clearly thats his strategy for this week. Ironic that both he and Jacinta Price want to be part of the Voice if the yes vote gets up. Being lied to be Liberals has never been my favourite thing.

That's just awful. She's a wife and Mum. Heartbreaking.

Just even a pathway from bed to bathroom. Is anyone preparing meals for her?

Our fires started this week. (SE Qld) Like clockwork our NBN and phones failed. It took me back to our last big fire season when the same thing happened.
