This July 4, I think about my Cuban friends who’ve served at Guantánamo, protecting Cuba’s border with the 125-year illegal US naval base. They wake up hearing the US anthem blasted on Cuban soil. On July 4 they have to listen to fireworks blasted by their imperialist occupiers.
