I didn’t like Tears of the Kingdom that much. It started really strong but felt like it got weaker as I played. Meanwhile, I could barely put down Breath of the Wild the whole way through.

Not a fan of people going "Marvel Rivals will be fine, those US people aren't that important to the game" when that's not the concern rn, the concern is that working in the Video Game Industry is hell because there's no job security anymore because of unnessarcy layoffs. Think of the goddamn people.

1st Gilded Age was caused by trusts running the US economy
2nd Gilded Age (now) is caused by private equity firms running the US economy

I don't think gamers really understand how bad things are in games right now. You won't really feel The consequences of all those layoffs for another few years. But I see so many devs that are just done with the whole industry.

Anybody positing that the problem with the games industry is that devs are too expensive is gonna get an instant block. For the cost of one EA CEO you could afford 213 devs making $120k apiece.
