FF:FF: I’m sure there’s concept art for this movie that’s just gorgeous, unfortunately the lifeless sheen of CG muddies this movie visually, and the script read like a ChatGPT summary of the comic series arc. Plotted entirely on empty threats and fake danger.

Oops! I loved it! A sometimes goofy and simplistic satire on how virality (a real virus or algorithms driven at discord) turn us into a cartoon to further the aims of distant but known powers. Shot with boundless and well-earned confidence and punctuated throughout by thrilling action set pieces.
