Facts! This required getting the number from unsecured sources, writing it down for "future use," recalling that you had it, watching the draft to see "the fall", laughing at said "fall", then planning to make THAT worse.

Soo...how to whitesplain the law to a Black lawyer!? SMDM

Ngl, I was on the forefront of the movement, having been a military brat who lived in Japan in the 80s. I was able to learn and appreciate both the restaurant quality and the "quick and dirty" form. Love it. Will not be shamed.

All. Of. It! (I ain't mad!)

But expected. His wife has a history of anti-Black comments that include racial slurs....before they were married!?

I can't say that MAGA is tired of Trump. I CAN say that, anecdotally, my small sample size absolutely is. It's finally hitting their pockets. Idk how long the effect will last. But, it's finally something!?

Wedge issue= "Culture War." That's basically LGBTQ+, Black, and women's issues. But, this time was immigration. (Remember, there was a bill...and THEY refused it!?)

What they are finally seeing is that "immigration" could've been a solved issue. But, it was necessary as a wedge issue for the GOP. There have been 50-eleven Bills...and very few votes. Why? Because the GOP has been a wedge issue party for decades.

Far less is being pulled out for their support. They'll likely attend underfunded school districts. So, they money "per head" will actually positively affect the financial numbers.

It's obvious that the "undocumented" community is valuable. How do we know? No company, corporation, or small business gets in trouble for hiring them. (They hated Obama for going at that point.) That's trillions of dollars recirculate into the local and state economies.

Folks have been fed this steady diet of misinformation that sells a narrative that just isn't factual. The vast majority of undocumented immigrants are simply trying to live. They don't commit crimes because that would literally increase the focus on them.

Let's not even go to "due process" and THOSE ramifications!? They will still fight the "immigration" fight, but there's still a LOT of ammo. MS-13 aren't training babies. So why deport a 2 y/o? Those that are have been detained before their actual trials? (Trump admitted this.)

I guess tariffs don't work like HE explained!? (Who'd have thought!?) I guess that the economy WASN'T the focus!? (Not getting better, but at least the Smithsonian doesn't have those "divisive" Black artifacts and exhibits!?)

They come in, and the FIRST thing that they wanna talk about is "what he did..." Mind you, I've gone around and around with these particular people. They are "regulars." We've had sporadic conversations for 2+ years! So, I'm really only interested in what THEY'VE learned!?

It appears that most, if not ALL of my Trump diehards are now like "F*ck him!". This includes an upper 60s, Black military vet, a mid 20s Black ADT installer, a white retired woman, and a white male the previously "worked in insurance."

I know it's kinda strange that I post and dip...but I simply go where people respond. (Between the "other place and here). So, it's been a bit of a whirlwind.
Bit, I'm back with another "Tales From The PT Job" episode.

Simply put, if the enslaved could find joy I'm that situation, who am I not to at least try? Joy is not only sustaining, but contagious. (Sit around some kids with no worries. You'll see!?)

If you're not "happy" when you are struggling. It tells me something. Either you've been privileged not to have a life with struggle, or you've chosen misery as the only way to deal with it!?

So??? You don't think that empaths can find joy? (I'm an empath and NOT necessarily religious) It's not about "gaslighting", it's about realizing that joy can be found in the culmination of many small "victories" that people take for granted.

Kinda been there...but it was watching my Mom get swept by someone very similar and me being both "young" and relatively "outside" of it. (He became my stepdad...for a few "short" years).

Thank you for reading. The process is ongoing. But, I'm determined.

She just "pushed through" until she could "get out." To recount, that's being the primary caregiver for a paralyzed parent, an immunocomprimised sister, without a dad within 1000 miles, while being molested by someone that he "trusted"...as a 13 y/o...and NOT seeing "trauma". That's MY base.

He was a Pullman Porter. Gone for months at a time. He left my Mom "in charge" to oversee my grandma's (helped by a neighborhood nurse) and my aunt's care. That started around age 12 or 13!? Also, there were "strange" men about. One (or more) who molested her. But, again, "trauma" wasn't a thing?

11 months ago 1 0 1 0

My Mom didn't know trauma because HER parents didn't know trauma. Meanwhile, I NEVER saw my grandmother out of a hospital bed. (Post Polio Syndrome and Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis) Mom only saw that for part of her life!? While taking care of my Aunt with Lupus while gramps was on the rails.

Same! As you can see, it took therapy and a bunch of self reflection before I realized how much I'd been exposed to. What I thought of as "stuff that just happened" was actually trauma...and left a mark.

Yes.. we fought "for real" and "hard". But, NOBODY is equipped to do that without those sustaining moments of happiness. (Morale is a thing in a battle!?)
We laughed, sang, and danced our way through oppressive times. That's literally a rebellious attitude.

Do you think the enslaved survived on malice alone? It was those temporary retrieves of joy that sustained hope. Our joy was weaponized against us as a means of ameliorating the horrors of slavery. The "happy darkie" became a trope. We developed music to express our pain and joy.

You don't? Joy has ALWAYS been part of the struggle. Whether it's finding it or keeping it. One of the most enduring scriptures is about "joy comes in the morning." MLK, Jr. quite literally preached about joy in pursuit of justice, as a manifestation of faith, and as service.

Gotta be a Trump flunky!? But, that's why Biden spent so much time and effort on balancing the courts that he could!? (Some of these judges are comprised. So came that way!)

They literally can't help themselves.
