Rodriguez gone
Happy Free MLB TV Day to all who celebrate!
Most likely 40 man moves are either Peterson to the 60 day DL which would start his clock but for a guy about to turn 27 not a big deal. Or DFA Jonathan Rodriguez as at bats in AAA might be hard to come by
If you have T-Mobile today is free MLB TV for you to claim via the app also a free hat at the store too
Guardians two potential Right Handed Bats via Free Agency Stuart Fairchild and Rhys Hoskins both have birthdays today. Fairchild turns 30 and Hoskins 33
Haven't log in for a month going to try my best to be better about that
I avoid the beach so mine doesn't make sense either and without being disgusting not a butt dude either
Finally had some time for some quick thoughts on today's trade

Grind
Beach
Butt
It makes no sense for me
What's interesting about Avila is he was a starter most of last year if you want a tin foil conspiracy point of needing more starting depth. Didn't miss enough bats but had a fantastic fip on a bad team
Bradford, once again getting a big story ahead of the sanctioned and affiliated media (b/c he's doing the hard work).
In this one, it sounds as if MLB wants to be the brand, rather than 30 different brands. MLB wants to be McDonalds. All the franchises are the same. Same food. Same expected 1/
Here is the wRC+ of every 1B from Aug first on. For a 6 hour window Cleveland 3 of the top 19 on their roster
@marcbernardin.bsky.social I am looking forward to your top ten list, very curious if you played dispatch this year I feel like it would have resonated with you due to the story telling aspects involved and the way they are presented
Likely something more like Messick, Stephen, and then a third infielder of some kind
I got to be honest I liked Sung-Mun Song more than Munetaka Murakami think that's a smart get by the Padres. They have a history of taking these gambles at lower years and costs. Worked out for Kim not so much with Matsui.
I kind of dig the trade for everyone. Lowe is a guy who raises the floor when healthy. Burrows I think should be at least a reliever. Melton I have been a big believer in and Tampa has hunted for CF for awhile.
Curious if anyone will figure out or catch me on a different podcast non sports related today
At the same time I could also just see the Rays as moving the rental injury plagued expiring Lowe and then getting a deal that was too good to say no to for Baz. They might not be doing more
If the Rays are tearing it all down Cleveland needs to call today about Yandy and make him a full time DH

No not enough

On today's Locked On #Guardians
⚾️In acquiring Justin Bruihl, the Guards continue to stockpile bullpen depth & they show us they have a type
⚾️With Noel DFA, have the Guards learned their lesson about what hitters dont work?

That Jonathan Lucroy deal was:
Greg Allen
Francisco Mejia
Yu Chang
Shawn Armstrong
Armstrong has been the most successful of them since that deal...
My quick take on the great Shawn Armstrong addition
