Part of me wants to question why someone decided to make Togore, but after seeing “Wing Gaster”, I can probably guess for shits and giggles.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure the only evidence I’ve seen that could remotely come close to Dess being The Knight is that The Knight makes a similar sound in Chapter 4 that Noelle makes in Chapter 2. Other than that I don’t think there’s anything else to go off of other than the horns I guess.

Never really understood where Friend Inside Me or Togore came from. All I know is that some good stuff came from those ideas. Like some extremely well animated battles inspired from Friend Inside Me and some really well drawn fan comics involving Togore.
