Ants player board in foreground, main board in background.
Ants card tableau
Ants is an interesting proposition. While I liked the gameplay with its specialized workers, fun art, and tableau building set in an ant colony, the rulebook made for a tough initial teach and play.
The forthcoming Let's Go! To France is an improvement on its predecessor, Let's Go! To Japan, in nearly every way, proving that Josh Wood is a master tableau-builder and that Paris is well worth seeing for oneself. My preview: spacebiff.com/2026/04/16/l...

I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
Math fluxx box and cards, showing various types of cards such as keepers on the bottom, goals and rules in the middle, and other cards on top.
I gave my undivided attention to Math Fluxx today. It requires players to reach a numerical goal with their keepers, but they have to use two or more of them and mathematical operations to get there. My new favorite Fluxx by far that multiplies the fun by adding a simple rule.
The Golden Geek Nominations are up: if you like what I do or it's meant something to you, a nomination would be lovely. Lots of good folks doing great work there too.

I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BURN DOWN THE SHED
Completed mine and completely agree 1000%.

It doesn't matter if Idaho, Ohio, Kansas, Florida or the US government itself tries to legislate you out of existence, you are loved, you are valid, and you are seen.
All of us have come too far, been through too much, and sacrificed too much to be ourselves to slip into the shadows.
Happy TDOV.
