ABC News reporting 1,500 active duty soldiers are on standby to deploy to MINNESOTA.
The soldiers are from the 11th Airborne Division, based at Joint Base Elmendorf--Richardson, one of the Army's premier infantry formations.
The division is also the military's leading formation for Arctic warfare

Sharing in case it helps you prepare. This preceded the tragic killing of Renee Good yeaterday. Team Public Works, Today, a crew of Public Works team members wearing City uniforms and badges were approached by ICE agents in S Mpls. The agents asked 3 team members for identification, all of whom were nonwhite. The agents did not interact with the 4th team member, who was white. Agents scanned identification documents, asked questions about citizenship, place of birth, and ultimately left. We expect the surge in immigration enforcement in the Twin Cities will continue and that tactics like this – targeting individuals based on the color of their skin – will persist. It is incredibly concerning, and I want to share the following information with all of you so you can feel prepared… …It’s unfair that our team members were subjected to this treatment. These are colleagues, friends, the people who help keep us safe when we're doing challenging work, help us laugh when we’re feeling down, and lighten the workload when we’re feeling tired.
