when I found out it was a live service free to play game I was immediately like, red flag red flag

lol kinda clocked it when I found out about pokemon champions being a free to play game that has seasonal ranking stuff and a subscription model but. some of the reviews are coming out and they're not good. yeah that's about what I expected from a game designed like this

I'm just not someone who's really into the battling aspect of pokemon, I know a lot of people are though, so that's good for them to have something. I'm just way more into everything else about pokemon besides the battling

kinda like fortnite or any number of modern free to play games nowadays

it's probably worth it if you like battling, I like the gotta catch em all and adventure aspect of pokemon, which isn't champions. it's also one of those like, tier system games where it's free to play and you get in-game currency and rise through a seasonal rank thing

the more I learned about pokemon champions, I think I'll pass. there's so many aspects of it that really turn me off from it
