I have had dozens of mature and nuanced conversations about political concepts in kink Telegram chats. I have had precisely zero with any right-winger who claims to value "open debate" and "the marketplace of ideas." We have gotten at best three to four posts in before they uncork the slurs.

Like... rewilding? Prison abolition? Worker co-operatives? Direct democracy? Proportional representation? Hybrid economies? New educational paradigms? Indigenous land sovereignty?

And I would give more credit to the right wing if it did not consistently demonstrate that its idea of a "comfortable space" is "somewhere they can say racial slurs and tell trans people to kill themselves without consequence."

None of them just want to talk about the free market or privatization.

And to be fair, you got me, you're right about that one my guy. I do not in fact wish to be in right-wing spaces, and it's primarily because you are all genocidal child groomers.

But it's also because your spaces suck and you make no accommodation for my comfort, despite demanding it from me.

But THEY don't have to make accommodations for ME. They don't have to pay to listen to my opinions, they don't have to give me comedy specials on their streaming services, they don't have to make space for me on THEIR Discord servers, and the excuse they use is "you don't want to be here anyway."

I have to endlessly listen to them scream abuse at me, tell me I'm not a real woman, that I'm delusional, that I'm mentally ill, that I'm a sexual predator, that I should join the 41%, or I "hate free speech," and not only that, but I have to make space for them on my Discord servers, too.

As far as right-wingers are concerned, I don't just have to laugh at their attack helicopter jokes, they have to be given space on every streaming service and at every college and comedy club so that they can tell them, and I have to pay money to see them tell them, or I "hate comedy."

Not to mention that like... why do they need that space? It's not as if we're preventing them from getting the necessities of life, like they are with us.

I keep saying, time and again, right-wingers don't just want to kill us, they desperately want us to like them while they do it.
