What are your favorite opening scenes in horror films?
I’d probably choose Jaws, Halloween, Scream, and Final Destination 2. Final Destination: Bloodlines was pretty damn good, but it needs to stand up over time to make the cut for me.
Jaws is definitely up there. The way it goes from fun to horrific so quickly, intercut w the guy on the beach being oblivious...
Not really horror, but the beginning of the first Jurassic Park also has the package of atmosphere, chaos and an unseen something killing a guy
