Yes! The most contentious debate I've had here was whether Cujo was a good boy or not.
If you're wondering, he WAS a good boy. He just got sick. πŸ₯Ί

Oh, for punctuation's sake!
I have been blithely using the terms "en dash" and "em dash" for β€” basically β€” ever.
TODAY, I found out that they're called that because they're supoosed to be as wide as the letters n and m, respectively.

Am I Thick Jack Clot for not knowing this?

Well, in my experience, you 100% do not, and it eats away at you.
Hope that helps!

It's an absolute fucker, isn't it?

Christ, hard relate.
I honestly can't tell what's screwing me up the most. Well, I think I can, and I have absolutely no power to change it. And it infects/affects every part of my life, and has done since my early 20s.
Solidarity. X

I'm very much enjoying articles about the different models of addiction, at the moment. Scientists are such little bitches!

A wafer thin academic discourse, overlaying barely concealed waspish contempt. πŸ₯³

It's one step away from History Today, and I'm here for it.

I've just learned about the existence of "intermittent explosive disorder."
I'm sorry to report that it isn't as exciting as it sounds.

I would ban guns, and obvs acknowledge the irony considering where this is happening, but if this isn't what the 2nd Amendment is for, I honestly don't know what is.

Thank goodness! I did wonder whether I was going to get misunderstood and piled on for talking about autism & jabs in the same breath!
And, cool; I'll wait to hear back about honorary membership. πŸ₯°

Dunno, I just keep hoping that they don't know something about my treacherous carcass that I don't! 🀣
I'm pretty surprised I keep getting it - I think it's because I have a glorious array of autoimmune nonsense, and have to see some old gimmer, with one lung and basically half a kidney... πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I had my tenth Covid jab today, and I'm STILL not autistic. 😞
Literally never going to be one of the cool kids.

Morning. ❀️
Going for an early bus is never my favourite thing, but I have a lovely morning, a coffee strong enough to support a bridge, and ears filled so loudly with Cannibal Corpse that my eardrums might burst. All is well.

Oooh. I've been learning French for, what, 37 years (how that's possible when I'm only about 28 is a mystery), and have only just come across the expression "entre chien et loup", which means twilight/dusk, and is really rather lovely, non?

Recipes Okay, let's just assume that I've written something whimsical, charming and, above all, LONG that you have to scroll through to find what you're after. You know, something about making these with my g...

Yeah, it is home made, but I cheat with bits and bobs. It's honestly lovely! I realised that Bluesky doesn't give enough characters for recipes, so here you go. Obviously, that pic isn't cottage pie, but it is when you click it!
