2026 ILCA Masters Midwinters: Day 4 - final day of racing saw 3 more races and plenty of general recalls. Wind was in the double digits to low teens. Sailed just well enough to win the small but mighty Apprentice division in the ILCA7.
First race in 10-12 and by the 3rd race we were all but hanging on in 20+
2026 ILCA Masters Midwinters: Day 3 - We attempted an early start to the day to beat the storm but it came early and so we postponed starting racing after 2pm.
When the wind appeared to fill we started a sequence only to postpone a few minutes later when it died out. It never returned and after about an hour of waiting sailing was called for the day. Did a bike ride to the island to see Jensen beach instead.
2026 ILCA Masters Midwinters: Day 2 - light air forecasted - and delivered. Still cool day and made it out to the race course only to be postponed.
2026 ILCA Masters Midwinters: Day 1 - cool conditions with 8-12 knots of wind enabling the 47-boat ILCA7 fleet to sail 3 races. I was about as bundled up as I could have been for unseasonably cool conditions.
Escaped the snow on the way to Masters Midwinters East and stopped at Kennedy Space Center on a day too cold to practice.

Fishing Bay delivered a classic fall mix for the Offshore Fall Series #2 – gray skies, breeze starting in the mid‑teens before easing into the low double digits, and six PHRF‑A boats ready to make the most of it. 3 races were sailed.
