I'm glad to hear that Biden, as one of his very last acts as president, has allowed Leonard Peltier to leave prison for home arrest for his remaining days. This doesn't forgive an unjust prosecution and trial, but it does allow Peltier to live with a degree of dignity for the remainder of his life.

Fritz Lang’s Ministry of Fear (1944), starring Ray Milland and based on Graham Greene’s novel, would be a good film to remake. The film entertains, but I wanted it to be less clear for longer about whether Milland’s Stephen Neale was insane or trapped in a series of bizarre events.

I invented a new beverage today by accidentally pouring Diet Dr. Pepper into a half glass of ice coffee. I’m thinking of calling it Dr. Coffee. Delicious!??

Just watched Billy Wilder's One, Two, Three (1961), a very funny play on Ernst Lubitsch's 1939 Ninotchka (co-written by Wilder). The film has some great acting and writing, including terrific plays on moments from early James Cagney films. And Cagney is hilarious.
