I did a double feature of this and Basquiat at some point. It was fun!

I haven’t dug too deep but I also haven’t seen him on the streaming services? in addition to the humor being specific and of its time, in 2026 if you’re not cycled through Netflix and Prime you’re in the dustbin.
Kid me generally enjoyed Ernest, particularly Goes To Jail and the Christmas movie, but I’m not surprised at all that he’s been lost to time.
Haha, that is a wild list (complimentary). Kanye AND Arcade Fire, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Kesha picking "Imagine," Griel Marcus Griel-Marcusing.
Is...is that a 90s homage to the famous John Buscema cover?
That's good to know- I always assume the audio from the Sphere shows isn't even worth checking out.
Heavenly played Boston in 2026?!? Wow! When you posted something the other day I thought you were talking about the album.
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
Zero likes but idk I thought it was a good one
Does going to college count?
it’s wild that with all the musicians passing in the last few years Iggy is still out there doing it this hard
This Spurs center is unbelievable, wow (Luke Kornet).
I'm usually very cynical about the "matching T-shirts" gimmick but the Spurs are doing it right tonight.
In the same calendar year we've had sports wags talking about the New England Patriots and San Antonio Spurs fanbases as long suffering. Amazing.
The second rule of fight club is NO. NAME. CALLING.
A privileged indie rocker? Can it be true?
Sorry I missed the Geese discourse, here’s my contribution
Damn dude you killed it
Feels like he went from putting three albums out a year to none at all. Live show rips though
Ah, cool! He's playing here soon and I was a bit confused because last time he played the 300 capacity venue and this time the 1800 capacity venue and I wasn't sure when he got so big.
Sadly, however, that was pretty dope.
They changed “shit ass” to “body” lol, this band is so washed.
Not wrong about Jeter tho
If The Last Dinner Party were playing a few blocks from your place and you had nothing to do that night and tickets were reasonable ($40), would you go? I don't know much about them except that they're maybe a psy-op.
They continue to pretty consistently give that guy BNM ratings and good scores to this day, but their year end lists got a lot more “strategic” feeling over the years.
I deserve more credit for keeping my cynicism about The Sphere to myself.
Ah yes, before we were all staring at our phones, look how tight-knit and living in the moment we were…at Woodstock 99??
It's incredible to me that during a phase when Liefeld claimed to have made a million dollars an issue (which I believe!), and how rushed-looking his whole style is, that he couldn't be bothered to do more than a few issues a year. Procrastination + sudden wealth is a hell of a drug cocktail.
I'm shocked that Mercury Rev album is ranked so low given how indie-rock friendly the rankings have been thus far.
We have to go back.
