You do not need to know your point, your theme, your moral argument.
That may be the last thing you know.
This is fine. Trust that there is a why.
I wouldn’t be writing if I weren’t seeking meaning.

I need to remember that I don’t need to get those first sentences right the first time. I just need to figure out more or less where the story starts.
Me too! Usually shortly after I’ve finally turned out the light. Or at 5am when I want to go back to sleep. I leave myself voice memos on my phone. Bonus is that I sound hilarious when I’m half asleep.
