Isiah Thomas a player refused to shake hands with MJ and the Bulls after a playoffs loss. Then got upset he was left off the Dream Team -- which he had no business on anyway -- and then as a coach got upset Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets were scoring on the Knicks when they were losing!

Sports in general are silly about etiquitte rules (don't get me started baseball)

But Basketball's lionization of "killer instinct" "win no matter what" attitude of player's like Kobe and MJ mixed with "It's rude to run up the score!" behavior is hilarious.

Got into basketball blogging in 2009 thanks to @wagesofwins.bsky.social And having almost 20 years doing it, I do have to chuckle that "Tanking" and "Flopping" come up so often as "ruining the league", which they'd been doing for 20 years before I started, and have been doing so for 20 years since!

Was trying to get a friend to guess a famous basketball player's name - he missed all the easy clues (I'll put those soon, level mode easy) so I gave him word clues. I won't say those, but here were his guesses:

- Johny Stalagmite
- Bank Volcano
- La Easter
