Really terrorists? 😭 Honestly Team Star is definitely tamer than say Ghetsis or Cyrus, but I don't think they needed to be fully blown evil to make them 'good villains', especially when they aren't villains to begin with.

I mean throughout it you realised that these are just misunderstood kids.

I know!!! Honestly it was so sad that the AI professor had to be destroyed in order for the machine to be stopped, i honestly felt so bad for Arven.

I'm not saying we need to see the professor blown to pieces haha 😭 I mean more the build up towards it, I think it would have been nice to have more information on it.

Tbh it doesn't even have to be in the game, could be similar to how they had Pokemon Evolutions/Generations as an animated series

Yeah, honestly I think that's why it hits so hard with me too, I have autism as well and honestly reminded me of my own highschool experiences and if I was in their shoes, I probably would have done the same.

And omg the picture of Penny, Nemona, Arven and your character at the end was so cute. I nearly fucking bawled.

Gonna love drawing Arven angst and pkmn oc stuff.

And gonna have to watch paldean winds at some point too!!!! Esp for Arven lol

I really enjoyed the main story of this game and I am only excited to start playing the post game, DLC and even do some shiny hunting.

It's really reignited my love for the Pokémon games and I can feel the 18yr hyper fixation coming back for real.

But for how it was released, I have to say I'm annoyed at myself for not taking the time to get fully invested the first time I played this game. When I actually took the time to keep playing and really give the story a shot, instead of thinking "God Pokémon has really lost it since Gen 5, huh?"

I generally think the game has some of the best story writing and man... I can't help but think what if we had the game more fleshed out? What if they spent more time on it, especially to expand the lore further of area Zero, to maybe even seen cutscenes of what happened in the lab four incident.

I just finished Pokemon Violet for the first time properly, and honestly I retract my original opinion on the game. Because generally if it wasn't for Arven, Operation Starfall and the area zero plot at the end, I would seriously continue to hate the game.

Now more than ever.
