I gave Kubo a lot of crap when I was younger, and to be honest, more arrogant. I STILL get frustrated by some of the issues with Bleach. But I know a lot more now about how being a professional mangaka puts you through a physical and emotional grinder. I respect the hell out of what he did.

One day the last civilization will crumble. The highest mountain will be swallowed up by the ocean. The sun will go supernova and envelope the Earth. And the last star will fade with the heat death of the universe.
And still you will remember that time you were cringe in high school.
The live-action version of Chainsaw Man was very strange.
Learned of Crispy's Tavern about a week ago and been enjoying their videos. Entertaining breakdowns of TTRPG-space drama I'm glad not to have heard of before.
Then at one point they mentioned being younger than the Lord of the Rings movies and I crumbled into dust and died.
I believe they're still processing. It's up to three episodes now.
Watched a Kdrama, Law School. Some really good bits but a frequently frustrating watch because it constantly felt like plot points would get unceremoniously dropped, or resolved with no sense of fanfare. It came out in 2021 so I have to wonder how much those issues were pandemic-related.
I think one of the things that makes (some) people approaching the end be okay with death is that they aren't capable of doing as much anymore. If you're eternally at your physical and mental peak, that's got to change things.
Me: Why doesn't he just *reasonable thing*?
Nik: Because it's a bad movie, Honey.
*repeat until the credits
In case you missed the news from four years ago, Morbius is really morberfucking bad.

Less than three hours after this, ASUS offered me a complimentary repair.
And apparently THERE WAS AN OPTION TO SECURE THIS FROM THE BEGINNING.
Which it took me until the FIFTH PERSON I WAS IN CONTACT WITH TO BE TOLD ABOUT.
Like come on guys.
Less than three months ago I bought a new laptop. Nothing big, just something to chill on the couch with. ASUS VivoBook 16.
The LCD monitor broke while I was adjusting it while gripping the frame. Both Best Buy and ASUS, the manufacturer, are refusing to cover the repair.
Been watching Apothecary Diaries. Already really liked Maomao from the jump, but her moment of "Ma'am, have you not noticed that you have GIANT TITS!?" has put her firmly among my favorite protagonists ever.
I fully admit that even before I knew anything about him, the very first time I saw an image of his face, I instinctively thought "I need to punch this guy."
When he wears it the "right" way, he looks like a sad fuzzy phonograph.
My poor son.
Ravi got fixed last week and had to have a cone on until Monday.
We bought a reversible cone in the hope it'd be more comfortable for him, and now it looks like he's wearing a Bagworm from World Trigger.
Comic book panel of Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, kneeling before a cross while Clark Kent, aka Superman, lurks in the background. Diana: "Why? Because I'm PRAYING? We thought we were cut off, Clark, with nothing to turn to. Diana: "Maybe we were WRONG." Clark: "And maybe we've already had our judgment day."
Comic book panel of Diana continuing to kneel with her hands clasped in prayer. Crucifix earrings and a crucifix necklace are visible on her person. Diana: "Maybe we WEREN'T helping. Maybe we were just DRUNK on our own POWER, proving how "SUPERIOR" we were."
Just reminded myself about DC: Act of God for some reason, and for about the dozenth time in my life nearly exploded in rage over Diana - who was GIVEN LIFE BY ZEUS - praying to the JUDEO-CHRISTIAN GOD to forgive her ~ARROGANCE~ after losing her powers.
Update: Recording will be on Tuesdays instead
Also, while I wouldn't really qualify this song as metal, it's got some crossover and it's one of my favorite Eurovision performances ever.

This is like saying "Music isn't about singing. Singing is just a tool used to convey the emotions and message of the song."
It's technically correct, but only in the loosest, most pedantic, and least helpful sense.
The show obviously needs to pick a lane.
Either be VR Troopers, or be Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad.
Also, sorry but if Stranger Things is the worst tv finale you've ever seen, then you aren't even looking very closely around Netflix.
#MulticulturalMetalMonday week 15: Venezuela ๐ป๐ช
Esto es solamente una cancion sobre un relacion malo. Pero su titulo es "Invisible." Considera esto un aviso: cuando alguien malvado esta hacio, es lo mas importante que todos no cerramos los ojos a la injusticia.
Viva Venezuela.

For a split-second I thought you were suggesting that ancient lesbians impaled each other through the head with nails.
WHAT THE FUCK
Hana-Kimi as in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e!?
This was the first manga I reviewed using an actual camera!
SIXTEEN YEARS AGO.
I thought they would NEVER adapt it into an anime.
...Some parts of it are HIGHLY problematic now.
Starts off sounding like a 90s sitcom for the first several seconds before transitioning into "Hell yeah" territory.
Vastly preferred to OP1. That is a nice bass lick.
I feel like I have learned to recognize this style of music combined with these types of visuals as a red flag when it comes to animation in general.
