Working on an idea I had when I was 10 where you walk towards a big red cube. Except now it has a story
I am sorry for tags for some reason they make me gag

Unions would be a good idea.
Looking for feedback! What are some ways I can light this scene? I tried working on a 3 point lighting system. but it feels flat, the first screen is an empty room second is with an enemy third is battle.

Minimize that iteration loop to zero!
Oof yeah I get that dichotomy. The need to finish makes it harder to finish.
I have something approaching grief for some of my abandoned projects or even threads in ongoing ones that I know I wont be able to explore.
That's a cool idea! I'm in QA so my enhancement would probably be something like being able to see who was weak to lightning or somesuch.
The Gatekeeper is one formidable foe in our v1.2 update, which increased the challenge of endgame bosses! โ๏ธ #gamedev

This move should be called the skipper skip. I'll go wall the plank.
What about dipping below the water to hide like a submarine, and you have a breath meter.
Or a move that lets you reflect bullets if you time it right.
Seems pretty readable which is great!
What a cute little stealth cat.
Translation: when excluded from full time work, genz must take multiple part time jobs to make ends meet, adapting to the destruction of better opportunities.
Enough negative critics exist, more positive ones are a blessing.
Very good terms to think of, I'm exploring this as well. It's almost like a macro version of level design. I think of it in terms of experience (a term I'm sure is used in vidja, but I'm more familiar with how board game design uses it). This section focuses on wonder, this section on panic etc.
4 panel comic. Panel 1, dad approaches his son and says "Playing video games? I'll show you something interesting". Panel 2, Dad explaining thing to son "The two types of game are dog and cat. All games fall into these two catergories. Deus Ex? Cat. Call of Duty? Dog." Son says "Yeah..." Panel 3, dad continues to explain "System Shock? Cat. Dark Souls? Dog. Despite being a Deus Ex game and encouraging player choice in approaching objectives, Deus Ex Human Revolution is actually a Dog." Panel 4, son lays alone in dark bedroom looking confused and distressed.
Most games are dogs. They aim to please, even when challenging you, they are ultimately an encouraging friend.
Imsims are cats. They might be friendly, cute and enjoyable, but they are there doing their own thing, and interactions may lead to unforeseen outcomes.
Iโm more of a cat person.
What does this have to do with a tower defence/card game, you ask? Maybe I should have asked myself that before I made this.

"What can Democrats do?"
When the South Korean president attempted to declare martial law, South Korean lawmakers literally fought through tanks and military forces and climbed fences to get into their Parliament building to stop him.
So, you know, that.
Yeah trip definitely would be the character I'd love to see again :)
Yeah I felt similarly - most of enterprise felt like that to me: fan service when not warranted and doing its own thing in the most obvious connection points. But what they did with the odd creative decisions was often very engaging.
Yeah the mini arcs were great! I was surprised how good the show became at parts. But they would follow up something clever with something stupid, and it lost the energy a bit before a pretty muted, weird ending.
Worst thing about S3 was the butchered opening track :P
I had issues with season 3 but liked what they tried to do there a lot. Definitely more consistent than any of the other seasons, and wrapped up well I thought.
Ugh, season 4 had some of both the best and the worst episodes.
Universal child care commits the biggest sin in American politics. Using tax dollars to benefit tax payers.
The real problem is people starting to believe *no one* writes anything anymore.
Okay, the hot take: Three Act Structures are actually ~fairly~ rare, and even those acts are subdivided into sections that more closely approach the five act structure.
