The interest in live theatre in this town is high. 😀
Alas, we had to trim the number of applications a bit and decided on eight productions. See details on these at:

Les Misérables- 6:30pm microphone check for full cast. Gives the teckies a chance to verify our mini-mikes taped to our face and for the cast to be goofy during the sound check. 🤪

Another show tonight and Friday, with two on Saturday at 1:30 and 7:30.

Full dress rehearsal for Les Misérables last evening went great. Didn't get any final notes from the director so assume I'm doing exactly what he wants. 😀
Opening night is tonight at 7:30 😬. Very few tickets available for tonight, though more Thu/Fri/Sat. Buy at:

The mess on the northeast end of Albert Bridge gets worse. Now they're cutting down a bunch of mature trees.
The huge pump machines, hoses, and cement reservoir inside the park do nothing to stop the water flow onto the sidewalk and Albert Street itself during the spring melt.
The most constructive part of rehearsals for Les Misérables is at the end when the director gives all of us individual notes on how we did -- in front of everyone.

A big thank-you to Rene Dumont for lending me these 19th century eyeglasses for my role as Bishop Myriel in Les Misérables. I'm also using my family's leather-bound Bible.

I am pleased to say I've landed the role of Bishop Myriel in RLT's production of Les Misérables.
We do our first table-read with the full cast on Monday.
I also took out the 1200-page novel of Victor Hugo. Good thing my character is at the beginning. 😬
Hell, when we were young ...
I'm happy to say I've been accepted as the Live Theatre Co-ordinator for this year's Cathedral Village Arts Fair.
I'll soon be hounding all you actors, playwrights, and theatre-lovers out there. 😀
Excellent summary, Paul. A sidebar should be all the organizations which have attempted to talk to the city about acquiring part or all of The Yards, for instance:

I first ignored this call as I'm musically impaired, then was happy to see it's the spoken version. Woo-hoo!
They need many actors, both speaking and non-speaking parts, so why don't you audition with me?
