It's not Tylenol. Or at the very least we don't have the data to claim that. And neither will the federal government tomorrow.

My ultegra r8050 shifters have seen better days. Living in a marine environment coupled with 17k+miles on that bike lead to corrosion. Apparently a relatively common Shimano problem. Sanded it down and painted them black. Came out nice! Cycling is a bit of a hobby.

Lab Leak: The True Origins of Covid-19 THE ORIGIN “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak

Every time I think this can't surprise me anymore, it surprises me more. The propaganda and misinformation is disgusting.

I agree with you. But what Heather was saying was wrong.

Fentanyl is dangerous when used improperly. When I give it, it's in a monitored setting and we need access to it.

However, there's no molecular difference between street fentanyl and hospital fentanyl when it comes to the active ingredient.

The dangerous part of fentanyl isn't the other stuff in it. It's the fentanyl being used in an unsafe manner.

People die from the respiratory depression secondary to the fentanyl. Not the other things.

Fentanyl is also an issue when it's cut into drugs that aren't fentanyl because of potency.

A story in 2 parts. Abbott forces Texas ERs to ask if patients are citizens of the US. Florida has a similar law on the books. Now the Trump administration allows ICE and the CBP to raid sensitive areas like hospitals.

Inlaws bought a drill press at an estate sale and are storing it in my garage for a while.

Time to make some holes in things. 😍

Seems like the medical and surgical community are finally moving over. Welcome. Maybe I'll start being more active.

But I dunno I've liked being outside and touching grass.

I know that X/Twitter is basically a right wing propaganda machine at this point. Is bluesky the opposite or more like Twitter of old these days?

Group of people with a double rainbow behind them in front of a brewery.

Someone walked into the brewery and said "Oh there's a rainbow outside." They did a poor job of truly describing the caliber of rainbow that was outside.

What's a message called here on bluesky if not Tweet? The empty posting window just says "Whats up?"

Also, I'm not really sure the staying power of Mastodon. It's too niche for most users in my opinion. The idea is good. The implementation needs work. We'll see if this platform ends up any different.

I don't. I've been thinking of spinning up an instance, but lazy.
