“You think about that now!”
Love that episode, I wish it got better play during the marathon!

(12/12)
1. Walking Distance
It was my Dad’s fave & it’s become my fave too. It’s a story with a lot of heart; a touch of sorrow but also hope. No aliens, or dolls, no Nazis, or nuclear weapons. But even without these classic hallmarks of the show, it’s the best Twilight Zone.
(11/12)
2. Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
This episode never fails to bring a smile to my face. It’s another one that scared me as a kid, but now it feels like an old friend. Everyone in my family loves this episode; it’s the one we’re sure to catch together during the marathon.
(10/12)
3. A Stop at Willoughby
This episode has grown on me over the years. It was a favorite of my Dad’s, the man who introduced me to The Twilight Zone. I now understand why.
Also, Gart’s den? Tremendous. The wife? Not so much.
(9/12)
4. The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
We read the script during a sci-fi unit in 7th grade. I remember feeling proud to already know about Twilight Zone!
And yes, Steve later became my profile pic on Twitter. A reminder to keep a cool head in an often toxic climate.
(8/12)
5. The Dummy
Sometimes, the things which scare us most as children stay with us long after we’ve grown up. This episode not only fueled an early curiosity about The Twilight Zone, but horror generally. That haunting cackle! Still gives me chills.
(7/12)
6. Living Doll
One of my earliest Twilight Zone memories is watching this episode on VHS; my Dad had part of the CBS Video Library/Columbia House collection. I got a kick out of how much Tina toyed with Erich - still do!
(6/12)
7. Deaths-Head Revisited
I remember catching this episode during a recent marathon. My brother happened to be with me at the time. I think he was surprised by how heavy this episode was! To that point, he’d only known The Twilight Zone to be about aliens & creepy dolls.
(5/12)
8. The Obsolete Man
In recent years, this episode has climbed up my rankings. It has an important message & reminds me that The Twilight Zone provides more than pure entertainment but thought provoking lessons as well.
(4/12)
9. Third From the Sun
This left a huge impression on me as a kid. The tension? Palpable. The twist ending? Perfect. I’d been aware of The Twilight Zone for years at this point & already had some fave episodes. But thanks in part to this one, TZ became my fave show!
(3/12)
10. Nick of Time
When I first caught this one during a marathon years ago, I realized there was so much more of this show that I hadn’t seen yet! How did I not know there was another Shatner episode!?
It also sparked a love of retro diners!
