But I think the desire to not be in pain is overriding my fear of going under the knife. I cannot describe how much this shit hurts and how fucking weird my knee constantly feels.

I start physical therapy todayyy. I'm a little concerned as it's gotten to the point where I can't stand for more than 15 minutes without excruciating pain, whereas a month ago I could shower and walk around quite a bit and the pain was manageable.

I'm praying I don't need surgery.

- I know for sure that my job is the reason because I've had direct line of contact with the insurance company handling the claim. They have not only stated such, but named exactly who is refusing to send the paperwork.

Also if anyone has dealt with this kind of injury before please give me some mf advice for the pain dawg I am suffering 😭

- Im now in Physical Therapy.
- The injury was on January 16th, and has not improved in the slightest.
- It took this long for a diagnosis due to a very long wait time (a month) for an MRI
- I have tried working shifts, but the swelling and pain are so bad I cant

So, I am using this time to raise money for my bills as I am currently on full leave and cannot rely on my job to comply with Worker's Comp. What was thought to be a possible meniscal/ACL tear due to the incident, has turned out to be a Chondral Defect in my Patella. In simple terms, the injury cracked cartilage and bone which, to my knowledge, does not heal back or is very limited in healing. So this has greatly extended - (2/?)

So I wanted to wait until I got full confirmation via a diagnosis from a medical professional, and now that I have that I want to discuss it a bit on here. Currently, I am raising money as I am on leave due to an injury I sustained on the job that ended up being worse than originally thought. (1/?)
