Ok, probably TMI, but having an expander fill post-mastectomy is SO entertaining. They just fill you up with saline like ‘how’s 100ccs this time?’ and they inflate your boobs with a comically large syringe. You literally go from an A to a B on the table. It’s like Parmesan cheese. ‘Say when!’

Had my chemo port installed yesterday, which was a way more intensive surgery situation than I’d thought. I’m getting through the residual pain but knowing that I’ve got a needle holding my jugular vein hostage for the next few months is…

Successfully got my start of chemo moved to just after the Florence concert in NYC. YAY.
Also, came up with our next dinner party theme, which is ‘1980s Pizza Hut’. Checkered plastic tablecloths, red plastic cups, salad bar, personal pan pizzas. Everything but the Ms Pac Man console 🙌🏻
