This will leave not just the military vulnerable but unfortunately the rest of the population as well. Hegseth however appears to have limited memory and even struggles with yesterday.

Thank you, I appreciate your reply. Unfortunately my Mum has passed her fear on to me but I have tried to move beyond it, not only appreciating them in photos but I walk in the forest and encounter them there, though I still hold my breath. Your photo was beautiful😊

Using secondary legislation to align with Europe is a sensible approach - Yorkshire Post Letters From: Jas Olak, vice chair, Leeds for Europe, Leeds.

Only ideologues who would rather see the UK economy damaged than enjoy prosperous relations with our European allies will object. www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/opinion...

I wouldn't argue with those. Even today you would see I have posts against Palantir and I have personally emailed Streeting, anti Trump and Reform posts and I regularly attack Netanyahu. Finally today my most recent post was about the media in the US and the parallels here.

They're not journalists I immediately recognise, I'll keep my eye out for them.

The hysteria is deliberate, they ignore the constant corruption from the right while they continue their relentless assault on other parties.

That is not what I implied at all, if I wanted to read your comments inaccurately I could suggest you 'do want a revolving door of MP's', which is not what I believe you said at all. I respect you want him to go, we view it differently.

I don't think that anywhere in my post I implied either.

Globally when a major shooting incident has occured they have changed their laws to protect citizens, it is something the US has yet to learn.

It’s not media cluelessness – it’s cowardice and complicity But there’s another word starting with “C” that describes some journalists: courage.

Media - Cowardice and Complicity
It is shocking how we import negatives from the US, and although this references the US media it applies perfectly to our own MSM. Journalists reject truth to reflect political demands of their bosses, who only care about money

You could have stopped at "I question the media"😊Seriously I agree, our MSM remains deaf to every corruption linked to Reform/Tories, most recently Tice while they highlight the trivial linked to other parties. You don't have to dig too deep for financial links, which is why they oppose the EU.

It is but under Trump nothing will happen and because of the strength of the Gun Lobby and the number of Americans who have guns, I'm not sure much will happen when the Dems get in. I hope I'm wrong.

I just feel there is a witch-hunt against him. I think he has made some poor decisions, the introduction of the Welfare Bill but he rectified it, yet each one has weakened him. Part of his problem, in the political arena of big characters he fades into the background.

It is shameful that the US doesn't follow the same logic. How many more children need to die before they accept children should come first.

That Palantir has such influence when they are such a right wing intrusive company, is horrifying.

I suggest the Starmer issue comes down to 'what is best for the country?' Personally I don't support a revolving door of PM's, I think he should stay. He made mistakes but when 1 day I read 'he is not hands on, is dismissive' the next he is 'aggressively assertive' I question the medias motivation.

All fingers and thumbs with my typing today, should read "appreciation"

Unfortunately they are similar, it is the main issue I have with Labour now, I totally reject Mahmood's immigration plans and they are widely disliked, they need to be thrown out. It is a mistake to pander to Reform supporters, Reform is losing ground.

You just perfectly summed up Reform and many of their supporters.

Thanks Warren for clarifying that, to be honest I think he needs a break at the moment, the attacks are relentless when he was only following the process and widely supported at the time by those now condemning him.

Reform UK vows to deport hundreds of thousands of refugees Nigel Farage’s party has looked to Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown as a model

This is an abhorrent plan, when Farage and Reform are being challenged they return to their tried and tested racist hatred of immigrants.
