This season so far reminds me a little bit of The Wire. It’s not as good, and it’s lighter, but it’s got that whole “let’s explore the largely invisible systems of a society” thing. The main storyline seems to be about a murder mystery/corruption plot.
There is potential here.

If anyone was worried, the new season of For All Mankind is so far much better than the last season.

It’s probably never going to reach the heights of seasons 1 and 2, but the S2 finale is a really high bar. By its very concept it can’t be the same show it used to be.
