my favorite time of day is 3:22 pm

i think introducing a new mechanic to the world at the 11th hour of the story was a bad move. idk ew felt really disparate from the rest of the 2.0 - 5.0 msq after level 83.

i have a lot of hot ffxiv takes but i one i've been thinking about lately is that ew msq is maybe only a little better than sb. it's highest points are like 1/3 of the way into the msq after which point it takes a really sharp nose dive until basically the very end where it only kind of gets better.
