That's how I felt with the Intermission for Azure. It's a fun little chapter but man are those intermission pace breaker

I knew Azure's finale was long. I didn't expect it to be quite this long. It's really good though. This is the first time Trails has felt like this since SC. Azure is bare minimum like top 3 Trails game out of the 5 games I have played
Azure's finale *MIGHT* be close to topping Second Chapter for me. We'll see once we get there
Sorry for not posting in a minute I had a hectic past couple weeks but I've been steadily getting through Azure and I am almost in the finale and just what the hell is going on
This will speed up things that require real world time but that's about it, you won't soft lock yourself by doing it. It works pretty much just like Animal Crossing's clock if you've played that
If you change the time on your Switch, it'll reflect in game. I can mostly only get on at night as well so I change the time sometimes so it isn't always just dark
It's just nice to see it was a legitimate understandable problem as opposed to Bluesky being Bluesky. Glad to hear there aren't any data breaches and everything is stable now
Sky 2nd Chapter remake coming out in September, less than a year after the 1st Chapter Remake, was not on my bingo card. I'm not complaining but I definitely expected closer to November early December.
I love it every time I am reminded Bluesky is held together with duct tape and dreams
I'm hoping for the MHA collab again too. I am, for whatever reason, a HUGE All Might fan and I really want that Rein skin
Yeah this is kinda pointless. It could've just been in the patch notes and no one would've cared
It's better than mine lmao. I don't wanna talk about my DPS placements. Not my strong suit
Yeah that's horrible. Hopefully it gets a bit better for you!
Ohh I ban the cat every single game. I love playing her but ever since I had a cat carrying a widow on Paraiso and lodging her perfectly still on the roof tops, I've made sure the cat is banned in all of my games
I am still on Azure so I have no idea what's going on but gotta love it when the end of a Trails chapter just leaves you speechless. One of my favorite things about this franchise
I've never been on for a drive but I might have to hop on this weekend for it. After like a 5 year hiatus from comp, I came back and placed Plat in support again so I'd love to try to make it to Diamond finally. Good luck with your drive games!
Man Azure is off to a great start. Most of my gameplay concerns from Zero have already been solved AND the plot is getting interesting in chapter 1 already. I'm really excited
It would be a shame if he missed time in the playoffs. I'm not a Spurs fan myself but dude is killing it and he is so much fun to watch
So far I am liking the additions Azure has made to the formula. Master Quartz is a cool idea and from other things I've heard about this game, they finally made some serious changes to the gameplay which I am absolutely going to appreciate
I do also think Crossbell is overall less interesting than Liberl. It's a fun setting but Liberl is just so much bigger and leads to better pacing throughout the game. Crossbell City itself is fine but having to go to and explore the outskirts towns in the requests was just boring for the 10th time
Though I will give Zero credit for NAILING the finales vibes. I feel like it did the Finale better than Sky FC and comes close to Sky the 3rd's final dungeon. It doesn't beat SC that is peak Trails now come on
And in addition to that, I feel like this villain is objectively the weakest in the series so far. Sky 1-3 all had villains that were built up so much and that were all very well written and Zero's just felt flat
While I do like the more focused nature of this narrative especially regarding its characters, one of my favorite things lost in Zero is that you don't get special interactions based on who is in your party since you never have more than the main 4 plus 2 supports
Thoughts on Zero and it's ending so potential spoilers. While overall I do love this game, I feel like it had quite a few flaws that we didn't see in the original Sky games minus Sky the 3rd but I'll get to that.
More in-depth thoughts tomorrow. It is super late and I need to sleep ๐
Truth be told, I didn't think I was gonna manage to beat it tonight. That was a LOT of Trails in one day lmao
Overall I do think Zero was a step down from all 3 of the Sky games, it was still one hell of an enjoyable ride. I love this cast and can't wait to jump into Azure tomorrow
I am finishing Zero soon. I don't think I'll pull it off tonight because I have most of chapter 4 and the finale but if somehow I do, stay tuned because I absolutely will have thoughts
I've been trying to do that but then I end up just replaying a game. I'm about to replay Kingdom Hearts 2 so that's gonna keep me out of commission for a while
Yeah my backlog is a little insane so I completely understand. It's only gotten worse since I got into Trails
