I was a mushroom in Saturday for the RVA Fae Fed booth at Cosplay World. It was fun. Weirdly talked about grief more than I expected & insects. Do I need a beetle inspired costume? Yeah, probably.

I'm rationally crocheting dragon wings, which probably also look like bat wings. I've finished 6 of 8 panels. Went faster today, after I understood the concept for making the points nice. I'm glad I learned how to read patterns & charts when I started learning crochet.

My grandpa survived. He was a sniper. My dad was born after he returned. My grandparents were in their 40s with 3 other kids at home when my grandpa was drafted. I'm always thankful he came home, while also honoring those who didn't.

There's something really satisfying about dropping $200+ on outdoor paint that will hold up for years, to make my outdoor wood furniture beautiful again. The paints is received in exchange for painting the pieces originally, has flaked off & faded. So I'm back to cleaned wood pieces for painting.

Last night RVA Fae Fed met up for the Seelie Court & to the release of 2 faerie meads that Nicole Pisaniello made artwork for, at Black Heath Meadery in RVA. We made flowers, played Rock Em Sock Em Fae Kings, colored & shared stories

Went to Drink & Draw RVA: A Poe Birthday Session w/ Brit Austin. The model was Saffron Soleil. It was a fun afternoon activity. This is the last drawing I did. This is the sketchbook I use for every drink & draw. I write the date & model name on the 1st page of each set.
