There are some legal rights you have that mean you can also add late fees to unpaid invoices

Sometimes them just knowing you're going to small claims is enough to get them to pay up 🤷
You can always take it to small claims court
legally once you send an invoice on agreed works, if you're not paid within 30 days you can make a claim. The rates are relatively affordable but also you can get support on the claim fees too
