I just did the math...
My TBR would take me about 5 years to finish if I hit my normal reading goal every year. At least it's mostly digital, but why do I still want MORE books, though?

I hope the last half of April goes the way the first half did. Gotten some good reading in this month!
Just finished this ARC for a debut novel coming out in September. One of my favorite reads so far this year, even if it feels like an emotional gut punch (or several).
Just watched SEND HELP with friends last night, and the lead reminded me of this waiting on my TBR. Well, it's off the list and onto my current reading now. Hopefully it's as fun as it looks!
Sometimes novel adaptations from other written works need a bit more adapting to fully function as a novel.
I already cheated on the book I was reading before, so why not do it again with a story featuring someone who has the same principles?
Almost every time I think I'll go to sleep early, a good book ruins my plans. Needing a huge caffeine fix, but still thinking it was worth it.
I need to finish one book, but then I glance at my TBR and see this one...
Already farther than a lot of people get!
I'm really not used to being ahead at this point in the year. Hope my typical spring slump doesn't shift into the summer.
My current read is running wild with that bullied-becomes-the-bully plot. Not a huge fan, but intrigued enough by the rest to keep going.
Just added both of those to my reading list. Thank you!
In that mode where because I have plans in a few hours, it's really hard for me to get started on anything productive right now.
Nope, definitely didn't fist pump in public when I realized I'd been granted access to this ARC on NetGalley...
Book Release Day! I was honored to read an ARC of Mr 2 Out of 10 a few weeks ago. Overall, a very sweet romance between two loveable characters.
Finished half of this in one sitting. A very cute read so far with an interesting premise.
Currently Reading: Falling into Fiction by Victorine E. Lieske
I know I'm late for the monthly roundups, but I'm pretty proud of the reading month! Now to keep better track of the reading journal so the pages read is more accurate...
I loved that movie.
His whole argument is dumb, but add in the assumption that all bosses are men...
I didn't quite finish the winter challenge on goodreads, but I'm proud for at least getting close!
I have a NetGalley problem because I ask for way too many books. So, I keep saying I'll stay away until I work on my TBR...but then, I go and get ARCs for things like this, and the cycle continues. (Book FOMO?)
Read over half of it in one sitting. Think I'll finish the rest tonight. If you like a little horror in your rom-com, you'll love this one.
๐๐ How To Kill a Guy In Ten Dates
If staying in the lines is something we're supposed to learn in kindergarten, a lot of drivers need to go back.
I agree. One of the few times the movie was better than the book.
A quote from The Stardust Pirates: "All of it knotted up inside him like rope, like chains, like something he'll carry for the rest of his life."
I hate it when a book will have one of the best lines I've ever read to describe childhood trauma but then overall, not hit the mark.
My current read! Lassoed By Fate has already made me snort a few times in just the first couple of pages.
I hate when a book has a great premise but is a struggle to read because it needed more editing. Typos take me out.
Spilled my coffee and almost got hit by a coworker tailing me way too close. Let's hope the rest of the day doesn't follow the same vein.
It really was! Lacked a little polish, but I enjoyed the book overall. I hope I'll get the chance to read the sequel (following the fmc's sister) when it releases.
Motivations behind the machinations!
