The primary thing I wanted to do was make the card work more like it does in the anime. the IRL version of this card only forces dragons into defense mode, so I instead have it banish all dragons, while having their effects negated to account for dragons that want to be banished. Then instead of summoning the card to the field, I opted for it summoning a token that works like it did in the anime, this way the card doesn't get destroyed from getting attacked but also can summon multiple tokens creating a solid wall. The last part was deciding on how to resolve removal effects, which I had decided the optimal thing to do was to have them sent to the graveyard if the opponent removes it, but as the player using the card, you can summon dragons to the field which "can" be useful if played right, but overall can hurt yourself so you have to be strategic if you want to remove it.
For the design, OG Dragon capture jar was already fantastic, so I just expanded on its design, giving it folded in wings and a tail. Also added energy leaking from its mouth and a more dramatic looking energy coming from the opening to give it a more powerful feel, trying to sell the idea that this is the bane of all dragons. If I end up making an Ultimate Dragon Piper to go with this, I'll likely try to make it work in tandem with the Jar like how they were used in the anime.
So, unrelated to my Aile archetype, I had an idea to make a retrain of Dragon Capture Jar to make it more like its anime counterpart. I had always liked the look of the card but was bummed by how lame it was IRL, which lead to this design.
