Meaningful moments like this one and being able to capture them with a camera is why I love photography, cause even without knowing the context, the mood and light you captured made me stop up.
I'm sorry for your loss.

A cherry tree branch casts a shadow against a building.

I learned how to cook scrambled eggs on low heat, not exactly a surprising hack ๐
I've often thought this too, I want to learn her ways! ๐
A flowering tree. The print is blue toned.

Ohh this is a good one!
As someone considering themselves a self-adopted Brit, I'm both proud and a little embarrassed to say I always travel with multiple kinds of tea bags, incl. PG and now also green ๐
I completely forgot this time and had to do an emergency tea shop in Sweden.
I've seen a fair few FP4 photos today but this has got to be one of my favourites!
Sending good vibes your way Richard. Your photographs lately have been beautiful, super nice tones and the kind of atmosphere I love in photos.
Museum floors are some of the best parts of museum visits for me too!
I've been in Denmark since Wednesday and flew back to England this afternoon. I'm about to have my first cup of PG Tips in 11 days, I might combust.
That's gorgeous!
Hi Helen, I'm sorry to hear about the chronic pain. I have several chronic conditions myself and I'm an ex-bookseller, so if you ever need some uplifting or relatable book suggestions, just let me know!
A white and black bench sits up against the end of a red and white painted wooden cabin surrounded by bright sunlight and a blue sky above and to the right side. A window reflects the sky and small, violet flowers are mixed in with a lawn in the foreground.
The Swedish part of my holiday ended yesterday, I didn't want to leave with weather like this.
It is pretty idyllic there, simple but good!
I did take the digital Ricoh GR IIIx but mostly I read ๐
It was!
Right now I'm sitting in the sun on a bench in the garden under a completely blue Easter sky, listening to bird song and watching lemon butterflies, bees, bumblebees and other insects fly between tiny blue flowers in the grass.
I've been in a cabin in the countryside in Sweden since Saturday and it's been lovely. Reading a book inside during a 2 day storm with the woodburner going and watching trees sway in the forest nearby.
It looks delicious!
Tea! I've been drinking and discovering so many different kinds of tea lately.
A hand holds up two paperback books in front of a white wall. One book has the title 'Water Moon' written in white on a dark blue cover background with a design of illustrations of origami boats. The book to the right has a lighter, dusky blue cover with yellow type that says 'Billedhuggerens Datter' and the author name Tove Jansson.
Currently packing for a trip and while the suitcase is still currently empty (and not even taken out of the cupboard), I have now picked and packed the essentials.
The light looks ๐
The green, blue and red are my favourite!!
Very much this and also "but the law prevents discrimination from happening"- does it ๐
I try to compare it to the darkroom; what would I personally be alright with in terms of edits and how much would I want to change a photo? Cause there's a point where the actual photographing part becomes redundant in making an image and that's not territory I want to enter.
I know what you mean, I think there's a slippery slope with it. Personally I've tried it with photos where everything is how I like and I don't even need to edit exposure but I've got a distracting sticker on a window frame or similar.
I'm against most (but not all uses) of AI when it comes to creative work and I hate how much I like the AI object removal tool. It's incredibly useful and works very well.
This is beautiful!
That's true!
I'd like to use what I have already, so I'm considering getting the Trip CLA'ed but only if it's worth the effort and money.
I just want something halfway decent and reliable but easy to use.
