Morning all, just a heads-up that my recent commission slot offer to recoup vet costs is still open, I’m otherwise going to stay off social media for the day because I freaking hate all forms of this “holiday” lol.

To be clear. Elliot will see the vet regardless, I don’t want anyone to think I can’t afford to take care of my animals the week after I went to buy filament. But it’s imperative I’m prepared to whatever tests need to be done. Thank you so much guys.

My tuxedo cat Elliot fast asleep in his little house.

Vet wasn’t available today, but a visit tomorrow is still looking very likely for Elliot. Would appreciate the chance to draw a $100 commission for anyone. I finished 9 pieces in my queue over the weekend (!!!) so I’m feeling a lot more confident over my speed to complete everyone’s work!

I meant to tell you all, that the vet was thankfully not needed. Elliot is eating again. Tomorrow I’ll resume the antibiotics.

Yesterday we went on a little outing to Micro Center for more filaments. I brought Vox along, thought he’d enjoy all the tech. Did lots of drawing on the way while listening to the Hazbin soundtrack since I’m pretty one track minded at the moment lol.

Well, my day gradually took a more stressful turn. 😞 Elliot has refused his third meal. There’s a chance he may take a positive turn overnight, as Mirataz takes effect, but most likely he’ll need fluids at the vet tomorrow.

I’m just relaxing while I can… a drink, a snack, YouTube and commissions.

Actually, something happening to Loona probably would, too, regardless of whether or not he blamed himself, don't you think? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't kill Loona off, but something like that at least appearing to happen to her would probably destroy him near beyond recovery.

I may have said this elsewhere, but I did think of something worse. If he did make up with Barbie, completely, and immediately afterward he lost her --and managed to blame himself for that, or worse, was actually somehow his fault-- I think that would be worse than his mom's death.

I have the wooden bracelet you made me too! Although I get scared to wear it too often, I'm afraid of losing it...

I'll try to someday! And don't worry, I did plenty of eating during this trip. I had the once-in-a-lifetime fortune to be treated to some of the best restaurants in the city. Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare was a big highlight, though I felt a bit out of place! And I loved my first real NYC hot dog 😁

Gracias Mari, I didn't have this account when this happened last year so you don't know details but it was really bad, I thought some of them might die. This time I was really well prepared and I think it'll be ok. If within a week I haven't seen any more get sick, I'll rest a lot more easy.
