I have this in one of the new Lorwyn decks and it's wonderful. Especially if you evoke it with Ashling the Limitless
like I cannot believe that the GOP my parents voted for - when I was growing up, they were classic "compassionate conservative" Republican voters who were proud of Reagan and the Bushes - has been taken over by pathetic ghouls who feel nothing except an insatiable hunger for power.
I try not to post politics as much anymore here because you all see it everywhere and I don't want to clutter feeds, but goddamnit JD Vance is such a liar. He's so shameless about it, too.

After taking exactly one (very much deserved) day off following the wildest two weeks of her professional career, Portland Fire GM Vanja Černivec went back to work. Today, Portland signed three free agents.

I feel like that can be said about that band *a lot*
I'm not a Blazers fan but y'all deserve nights like last night. He was special, and games 3-4 at Moda are gonna be incredible.
Back when I had my radio show, I remember getting *overly excited* hyping up unknown prospect Deni Avdija on the night of the NBA Draft.
I used to regret that. I don't think I regret that anymore.
Please keep Oregon State freshman pitcher Tyler Bellerose in your prayers.

After the draft, the Fire announced a trade with the Connecticut Sun, sending Bigby and a future draft pick to Connecticut in exchange for UConn big Serah Williams.

Here is my story on Portland Fire GM Vanja Černivec's post-draft press conference.
Černivec beamed with confidence, calling seventh overall pick Iyana Martín a general talent, imploring fans to trust in her scouting department, and more.

Hell yeah, you killed it last year. Good luck!
Here is my piece on TCU guard and former Oregon Duck Taylor Bigby.

Tonight, the Portland Fire selected Bigby with the 37th overall pick in the 2026 #WNBADraft.
The Portland Fire have drafted TCU guard Taylor Bigby 37th overall in the 2026 #WNBADraft.
I'll have a piece soon on portlandsupporter.com
Here is my piece on Portland Fire 17th overall #WNBADraft pick Frieda Bühner:

After leaving the Florida Gators in November 2022, the 6'1" German forward has played in multiple EuroBaskets, the 2024 Summer Olympics, 2026 World Cup qualifying, and more.
Here is a highlight video I made for the Portland Fire's historic first ever #WNBADraft pick, Spain international Iyana Martín Carrión.

Deutschland! Portland draft a backup for Bridget Carleton at SF. German international Frieda Bühner is headed to the Fire. #WNBADraft
A write-up is headed your way soon at PortlandSupporter.com
Here is my piece on Portland's historic first draft pick, Spain national team point guard Iyana Martín Carrión: www.portlandsupporter.com/p/portland-f...
Martín's star power has soared since 2022. First she played with Spain's U16s, then U17s, then U19s, then the senior national team last summer.
Iyana Martín Carrión made history tonight. She is Portland's seventh overall pick, the first ever WNBA draft pick in their franchise history.
I wrote about Martín in this piece last weekend: www.portlandsupporter.com/p/potential-... #WNBADraft
Toronto picks Kiki Rice. I am really loving this draft for Portland.
To me, Nell Angloma is a draft steal. She could be the best player in this draft three years from now. Ta'Niya Latson is a perfect guard for Alex Sarama's drive & kick offense. Then there's Flau'jae and Raven Johnson.
Whoa!!!! Gabriela Jaquez goes 5th overall to Chicago.
Now, the Portland Fire can potentially pick from Flau'jae Johnson, Raven Johnson, Ta'Niya Latson, Spain international Iyana Martín, France international Nell Angloma, and more.
Damn, Lauren Betts goes to Washington at 4. She deserves it. Frankly, she could have gone even higher.
I was really, really hoping she'd fall all the way to Portland at 7. Betts flanked by four skilled three point shooters was a dream scenario for Alex Sarama's system this season.
I too believe that consumers should buy the New York Times en masse, but not for political action. Good toilet paper is expensive.
Seattle gets the best big in this draft, Awa Fam Thiam. She could have gone first overall.
I can't wait to watch Portland/Seattle rivalry games this year.
Olivia Miles might not be the first overall pick, but she has first overall style. I love her hair. Can't to see her be her in the W.
UConn goes back-to-back 1st overall, Fudd joins Bueckers in Dallas. You love to see it.
Thank you! These incredible women deserve excitement and positive energy. I can't wait to see what they bring back to Portland.
Here are some last minute WNBA draft previews for Portland Fire fans.
