Then you will have to go in with the people you're selling to, and show your ID for the entire group. That would be normal for friends who want to sit together. VIP is not set up for resale. Intentionally.

HYBE already proved they listen by opting out of dynamic pricing for Jin. Now we need them to complete the protection with Face Value Exchange for the 2026 tour.

So here's what we need:
π« No Dynamic Pricing = fair prices during the sale
β
Require Face Value Exchange = no scalper markup after the sale
Both. Not one or the other. Both.
Face Value Exchange = what happens AFTER the sale. It's a Ticketmaster option that caps ALL resales at the original ticket price. No markup allowed. Billie Eilish, Pearl Jam, and The Cure use it. It works.
But opting out of dynamic pricing only protects the INITIAL sale. It doesn't stop what happens AFTER - when scalpers buy tickets and resell them for thousands above face value on StubHub, Vivid Seats, etc.
Dynamic Pricing = what happens DURING the sale. Ticketmaster raises prices in real-time based on demand. A $200 ticket becomes $500, then $1000+ as you're trying to check out. HYBE opted out of this for Jin's tour - that's huge and we need them to do it again.
A lot of #ARMY think opting out of dynamic pricing is enough to protect us from unfair #ticket costs. It's not. Here's why we need BOTH dynamic pricing opt-out AND Face Value Exchange. π§΅1/

TM is under legal in the US, I agree. As a global fandom, we're in good position to set a precedent of slicing their resale revenue (TM makes money from resales). So we win, other fandoms win, and we drive cracks in the monopoly. At least I hope. Big picture / zoom in - either way it's a good idea.
The petition is up over 1k signatures!

Week past Brooklyn Hobi - feeling the post-concert letdown. Heart is ready to buy tix and book a flight to Oakland. Wallet and job, not so much. #jhope #hots
This is beautiful. Really captures his expression. π
Still With You.
My favorite noodle shop is moving in April :( I'll have to find a new lunch stop when visiting K-town. Or go figure out where Noona Noodles is moving to, lol.
HOTS ticket holders, you're in for a treat! Not a BTS show, and not what I would have expected, but very Hobi-coded. A metric f-t of talent on the stage and a great show!
I don't think we play The Mind correctly. You can hint and make inferences about your numbers, yes? We were told you can't talk about the game at all, which makes it kinda weird.
And for the curious, games that have worked well in the past in le Harmonies, Charcuterie, Alpine Trails, Scout, Welcome To, Draftosaurus, The Crew, Cartographers.
This is on my shelf of shame. Hmmm...
So, I brought Dixit, and the Provost actually stopped by the table while we were playing. Thanks for the great suggestions and I'll line them up for the Mondays to come - board games in the cafeteria are a great way to bring faculty, staff, and students together! #boardgamesky #academicsky
King of Tokyo. There's a blast from the past.
This one I don't have...
True and I have that as well. Haven't played in a while...
1. 2014
2. Butterfly (I had to look it up and it was close. Second was Daechwita.)
3. Joonie
4. Which day is it? All of them, lol.
5. No, not yet.
I have Dixit - haven't played in a while. Good idea :)
Board game lunch tomorrow at campus. Need something quick, easy to teach, meaty enough for fun, friendly for students and passers-by. Suggestions? #boardgames
I would do that if I lived nearby. I'm an 8 hour drive out, so I need to have something set.
I gave up and bought em at StubHub. Already in my TM account, so they're legit. But I must have paid 5x the fees.
