We can’t save all of them! But we do carry a spare.

Slowly, solemnly crossing off the ‘I fancy the Pope’ square on my bingo card.
That is honestly quite a muted bark for him. He has a very imposing voice!
SUCH LOUD BORKING
His emotions were very big.
No, but he forgot about it when he got the spare ball. (Not our first ball catastrophe.)
I know. Genuinely tragic.
Yes but let’s not skate over the fact that it was all his own fault.
When you weren’t supposed to go into the pond but you did and you brought your ball but it drifted into deeper water and you forgot about how much you hate swimming and NO ONE WILL HELP YOU.
I do like The ABC Murders and it’s nicely gory but I think Evil has a great twist and then you can watch the Ustinov Poirots which are a hoot. I read them all at that age and my two read some of them but didn’t get as hooked, so good luck!
Crooked House if the 11yo is steely of temperament. Also Evil Under the Sun and Death on the Nile. The Orient Express isn’t all that easy - too static, ironically.

Also romantic; I forgot to say that, but it’s beautiful.
Rainbow Rowell’s novel Cherry Baby
This book! Absolutely 5 stars: so perfectly funny and insightful and not a word wasted. I truly loved it @rainbowrowell.bsky.social
Madness!
Ah, I see. A too hot/too cold day.
London people: is it a trench coat day? Light jacket? BIG COAT? I don’t trust the sun.
That's amazing!
Can you search by property?
Very much open to correction but think I might've found Peig.

Hannah? Auntie Áine!
They were in Haggardstown/ Blackrock. If you ever went to the seaside it would have been Blackrock!
Yes, that was confusing, I appreciate. My grandfather on my dad’s side was 47. 😊
Twenty minutes from my Dundalk relatives.
My dad was not yet born - he arrived in November 1926 - but his six siblings were. It must have been a busy house. The eldest was 11.
Thank you!! (Where is Kilkerley?)
