Yeah I was actually think a little rolling cart would be pretty useful, sounds kinda like what you're talking about with the craft cart.
I personally use VTT most of the time so I don't have to think about hiding minis in person. But when I do play the DM screen is handy for hiding. I don't hide dice rolls though, that's not really what my screen is for :P
So if you don't use a Screen, where do you hide all the minis and spoilery notes? (I know for me the notes are already on my laptop which is inherently a mini DM screen) but what about the minis? Keep them under the table?
Just a genuine question BTW, not saying forgoing the screen is bad at all.

(The entire party is made up of mimic items with unique animities based on their mundane items they picked. I outlined it a bit before in a previous post. If anyone wants to do this as a one shot (DM or Player) hmu! ;))

Holy crap, that's fantastic! Weird how it even came out right bwfire the pandemic boom in the TTRPG space, that's a shame it didn't take off. I didn't start playing till end of '22 so I had no idea. If y'all ever want to do a campaign for it I'd be down as a player or assistant DM haha
Yeah it's great! They never did make an Expanse TTRPG did they? Obviously there are olenty of sci-fi systems that it could be licensed out to rather than thei own system, but ya never know. I should see if there's an Expanse APs out there 🤔
