We lost my husband's beautiful, funny, kind, talented grandad, Brian Murphy, this week. Martin shared some of his memories with BBC and it's meant so much to see the outpouring of love from all the people who loved his work over the years. We'll miss you Brian

Nothing could be more perfect than Sarah-Louise Young, An Evening without Kate Bush as my first night out sans baby at Jacksons Lane. Perfection. Gorgeous. Heaven.
The wonderful Jacksons Lane team are launching our 50th anniversary programme tomorrow night with incredible shows, participatory offers, heritage activities and more! The tiny prince who currently runs my life will decide whether I'll be able to join but if not I'll certainly be raising a glass
Youth theatre is important, transformative, vibrant … and fragile. The youth theatre census. Read the report at bit.ly/youththeatrecensus

So fancy!!
Me too
Highlights included: funky camels funky dancing, worrying the angels might spin themselves offstage in a dizzy tornado, caesar telling everyone they had the passion of a wet fish in a bag, my husband having no idea what was going on until I explained... half way through the show 🤣
We're all drowning in admin while having the time of our lives!
Better than I could have imagined! They did a mashup Strictly Comes Dancing meets Nativity SHOW! Including a fabulous take on Craig Revel Horwood as Caesar. Iconic.
This is why I love primary school teachers ❤️
I'm OBSESSED with school Christmas festivities - it's nativity day, my kid had her part (& required costume) changed with one days notice, there's Christmas jumper day, Christmas Dinner day AND Christmas Fair day squeezed into one week, everything requires cash and pre bought tokens. We are LIVING
Christmas Comes to Moominvalley at Jacksons Lane was absolutely magical. Beautiful, delicate storytelling with circus and music woven throughout. We took a gaggle of kids (8 kids aged 3 months - 5 years - yes we are quite mad) and they all loved it! So proud of the team behind this show 🙌
Tomorrow is Moomins day at Jacksons Lane! Tomorrow is MOOMINS DAY
It's Big Give Christmas Challenge week - when all your donations to charities through the campaign are doubled! Jacksons Lane is fundraising for its Community Christmas Day which will support 300 isolated older adults. Please give if you can

I've just finished Strong Female Lead by Fern Brady - absolutely loved it. Such an insightful, smart, funny, emotional read #booksky

My baby has discovered a new trick - being incredibly loud when incredibly close. So proud
Wish I'd had this strength before battling my way through A Little Life #booksky
THERE IS GUYS!! My feed is about to be books, theatre, coffee and all things lovely with some strong climate and politics discourse thrown in for fun!
I've fallen into a deep deep black hole of coffee machines... so now I'm wondering... is there a #coffeesky community out there?
She's arrived!
OMG SCREAMING! 🤣❤️
Do meeeeee!!! (Please)
Very lovely booky community using #booksky
Welcome to bluesky @mrbrowse.bsky.social ❤️
So happy to have the purity of @themerl.bsky.social back in my world
The wheelers haunted my dreams for years! 🤣
This reminded me of his appearance in Return to Oz which was one of my favourite and creepiest movies as a kid!
