I don’t know anyone who’d prefer City to win, outside of Spurs fans. I’m really not sure the anti-Arsenal thing is that widespread like the media insist.

That’s possibly the maddest thing I’ve seen in a while, including Trump interviews. But I don’t like Hawking as a baddie and SBF as a goodie, that’s what ruins it for me!
My kids are too excited, so probably got too excited on tickets too 🤦♂️ They went to the play off final, but who knows when a Wembley trip might happen again. Mad Leeds have had no domestic semi final since the 80’s.
I think tickets on the app are the perfect guess for what could go wrong…
You feel that’s coming, Sky are cheering them on.
The Sky coverage of Wrexham is so pathetic and obsequious it’s embarrassing. It’s a fun story, but no fairytale, and increasingly irritating.
100%, trophies change everything. There’s a reason Mourinho always targeted the league cup to win, it built mentality and momentum.
There’s a part of my heart where I’m really happy right now that these pesky delivery robots in the city are treated just as poorly at traffic lights as we pedestrians are.
What’s more: they depend on our help—which we’re allowed to withhold :D
I’m sure a few Fulham fans do too…
Shows that mid table PL teams not taking the cup seriously is mad, as a lucky draw and you’re so close to the final.
Facts getting in the way is tremendously inconvenient 😆
I think English football is one of the most trusted, audited sports (although money talks more than early ever - but that’s influence, not necessarily corruption). Man City and Chelsea I’d say are exceptions.
The draws being so kind to the big teams is staggeringly consistent though….
It was a decent team he was pulling together, and definitely got a more rewarding victory the following year 😉
100% onside, but don’t worry, easy mistake 😉
This club showing resilience and character has frankly been an astonishing change… but absolutely brilliant to watch.
Christian Gross for me. That tube ticket might not have expired yet.
Magnificent thread. The fact that he’s now managed to soil himself on *GBeebies*, an entity that only exists to promote bile like his, is like the whole thing landed on a triple word score in Scrabble. Andy Twelves is a legend.
Pretty sure taking the knee as a long time after he left! And clearly he still thinks of fans as a very small, cliched demographic.
But it’s my mistake to take his views seriously.
As someone who endured that idiot at Southampton, it’s hilarious. He hated the sport, hated the fans, we hated him, bewildering he stayed so long. Think he enjoyed pissing everyone off. But he certainly didn’t understand football.
Sorry Adam, it’s just dreadful. Football is the most important of all the unimportant things, it binds us, runs through us, connects our past and present in ways nothing else can. To see a club help or even tolerate such a hateful, divisive figure abuse that place in our community is sickening.
That’s pretty depressing to realise, we’ve not done well! At least the consolation is that we hated both of them at the time, and neither actually even liked football or the club, it was just a power/money/PR thing.
So, about those Eid prayers in London...
"What's the highest thing in Trafalgar Square?"
"Nelson's column, innit?"
"And the highest thing on the column?"
"Nelson."
"And on Nelson?"
"His hat."
"And the highest thing on his hat?"
"That bit that sticks up."

But it has a more focussed chassis setup! 🤦♂️ That’s properly mad.
This is an extraordinary saga that Sunder is pursuing indefatigably. The BBC has repeatedly tried to excuse itself from responsibility for allowing Nigel Farage to lie egregiously about immigration without challenge. It is illustrative of a much wider malaise & so very important. Thank you, Sunder.
1/ Denmark was reportedly preparing for full-scale war with the US over Greenland in January, with military support from France, Germany, and Nordic nations. Elite troops and F-35 jets with live ammunition were sent, and runways were to be blown up to prevent an invasion. ⬇️
Enough chaos to keep us all awake!
This is the content we all need!
The last Tudor to triumph in Europe at the battle of the Spurs was Henry VIII, and I don’t think Igor is following him any time soon
We were also the fittest and best at late goals I’ve ever seen, he had made that a strong, resilient team.
It’s shameful. It’s essentially saying some parents want to hide fundamental parts of society from their kids because they have regressive views, so Disney will pander to them.
