Our first meeting will be June 16th, 2025 (10h ET/16h CET)
Timeline:
June – Getting Started Meet, share and discuss first drafts of your talk or poster.
July – Refining Integrate feedback and revise your slides and design.
August – Finding Words Practice your presentation, refine your delivery, and walk into the conference ready and confident!
In addition to the group work, the SIG will host a monthly support workshop open to all participants. These gatherings are a chance to meet across groups and pick up useful tips and tricks for presenting and attending conferences—from practical advice to confidence-boosting strategies.
In small groups (3–4 contributions per group), you’ll have the chance to share your work-in-progress, give and receive feedback, and refine your message in good company. We’ll do our best to group contributions around shared or related themes.
Let’s slow things down and make space for a different kind of academic practice: one that’s collaborative, thoughtful, and generous.
We’re offering 20 spots for a collective prep process where we’ll help each other shape our presentations and posters.
Are you presenting at the ESERA conference this August?
Would you rather not be scrambling to finish your presentation the night before?
Do you enjoy working with supportive colleagues—and being one yourself?
🧠 Get a sneak peek into the kind of research they're doing
🤝 Chat about potential ways to collaborate
❓ Bring your questions — it’s informal, open, and fun!
We’d love to see both new and familiar faces there.
