My previous setup was “a keepass file in Dropbox”. Keepass was great too but no sync. It felt great deleting Dropbox when I was done migrating too, because I sure wasn’t using that for anything else.

This is or may not feel helpful for you rn, but (speaking as a cranky engineer who gets driven nuts by modern shitty software) Bitwarden is seriously a delight.
I pay them a small yearly for their sync service (to support dev really) and it’s flawless thus far (2 years)
