Choosing "wheelchair use" as a point of attack works the same way regardless of who is being targeted. It doesn't become okay just because the target is a horrible person.
What it does is normalize and strengthen the idea that wheelchair use should be mocked.
As a progressive Texan who adores Crockett and is also a wheelchair user, it still sucks. No matter who says it or who it's directed at, this type of rhetoric normalizes ableism for everyone.

Yesterday around this time we heard very loud cat screams. And It has been 24 hours since we have seen the boy. I really really am anxious that something happened and we won’t see him again.
So we’ve spent about half year befriending a cat that’s part of our neighborhood colony. He was very standoffish for most of that time but in the last two weeks we were able to get full on pets and head bumps. He’s honestly the sweetest.
