This extends so far past Eurovision. Only 5 countries are boycotting.
Normally by now I'd have heard all the entries dozens of times, have my favorites and predictions. I've listened to none of them. If Finland wins I'll try to attend the competition next year, but I'm skipping this year's.

No reason to be embarrassed. It's just as hard as the island nations. I got all the other neighbors first except for the other one that's just like today's answer.

A cartoonish 3D render of an evil robot is being projected onto a wall between two stereo speakers amongst some arcade stars-and-wavy-lines carpet, game consoles, arcade machines, and chairs.

I get cougars in your area ads all the time.
Trade ya.
They might have fixed it between the time you played and I played.
It accepted West Bank for me and said the answer was Palestine.
So jealous of the lighting!
Not that I don't have fun lighting now, but my computer at 16 years old was rather beige.
'Twas bound to happen eventually.
Just shy of two weeks after, AARP sent me an unsolicited membership application.

Was about to do a napkin cartoon but then opened my fortune cookie…
Picture of Thelma Todd, early Hollywood star.
It was the second hit for me, but I couldn't not.

Spiked or virgin?
Peeps today just don't know how awesome The Weather Channel's muzak was.
Please post the receipt. This reads like absolute BS.
Even getting guac and queso blanco add ons, you cannot approach $40 at my local Chipotle let alone $52.
What else was ordered? Drinks, chips, salsa? There's definitely more than two burritos in this order.
There's a certain dark irony here that it was Israel's win in 1998 that got me into Eurovision in the first place.

Shut the pantry door, that was good!
I'm disappointed the EBU hasn't taken stronger action. It remains to be seen if the new rules will rein in Israel's behavior in the contest or encourage them to withdraw.
I will probably go the route these countries are taking and not watch for the first time since 1999.
I put the first stickers on it. That makes the new laptop official official.
Sometimes you just know that someone has never worked in retail or service, when they're being *that* customer.
One of the best parts of this game is the collection of disappointed Hollywood celebrity faces the cameraman is showing. Like, dang, I have to sit through another inning?

A first ever for me....
While walking with Joe and the dog a squirrel fell out of a tree onto the ground. We were all so stunned that we froze solid. A few seconds after we realized what happened it recovers and races back up the tree.
Maybe it was aiming for us and missed. #dropsquirrels
The equivalent stories from the local for-profit TV stations are highly pared down and filtered through their own biases, focusing on the laws related to speeding, drugs, and crime. Like those are the only things their audience can be bothered to care about.
WYPR is my main source of information on the happenings of the Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Maryland governments. These are stories that national media are not expected to carry, let alone produce.

I've also received appeals to "adopt a station" in an under-priviledged area which likely won't have enough local people to step up and fill funding gaps.
There's a certain ethos about trying to do more with less, but the reality is that these stations are going to end up doing less with less.
I've donated to my local public TV and radio stations for well over a decade. This year's fundraising drives hit so much different.
This morning the WYPR morning program "On The Record" broadcast its last episode and I received postal mail from WETA (DC). I got one from WYPF (Frederick) last week.
New fiscal year, new shop. Check out all the new swag at shop.npr.org. Some really fashion forward stuff, and I believe this is only the beginning. Great job everyone!
