Misterican eyes glow the color of their Mist color or their soul color. So to use his parents for example - Even though Lord Aurinko’s eyes were gold naturally - in this mode his eyes would have glowed red. Even though Lady Kuu’s eyes were blue naturally - in this mode her eyes would have glowed purple. Not all Misterican’s can do this however. This is a skill that only some can do and more often than not it was an inherited skill. Doing this increases many of the Misterican’s natural abilities. The benefits of it that Kumo experiences are augmented due to his status as both Unlimited and The Holy Vessel. So the power Kumo is capable of pulling in comparison to your average Misterican is at least a hundred fold. In order for a Misterican to do this they must have a strong connection to the magical abilities that exist within their Soul’s Mist. More often than not, a Misterican that can do this would be a Mist Mythic in some way. If they were not it would be easier for them to become one. I say this because the Misterican in question would need to be able to access their Soul’s Mist in order to get to the abilities that exist within it. When going into this state, it can happen purposefully or within the Misterican’s knowledge as it can be very emotionally driven and this is why they needed to be trained to use it properly. In the heat of high emotion, a Misterican could fall into this state without their knowledge and such things could be dangerous depending on how these augmented skills were used.

This state is basically tapping their soul and can be used to increase the strength of spells, or summons. A Misterican’s natural strength or the potency of the natural abilities that reside within their mist. It can also however enhance their eye sight - I.E. giving them an increased ability to see in the dark or through a thick mist cloud or in other low visibility circumstances. The problem with this skill is the nature of it. It’s tapping the power that exists within one’s soul so it is dangerous to use for any extended period of time. Thus Mistericans trained to be able to control the augmentation levels and to gain the ability to focus those levels to only certain things. (I.E. - Only enhance strength but nothing else) They did this so it would pull less on the soul. While it wouldn’t do damage to one’s soul it would exhaust the body quickly and after doing so a Misterican would generally take longer to recover from doing so without proper training. Most Mistericans with proper training won’t use this state for more than a few minutes at most. It could cause them to pass out on the battlefield or become weakened after it’s use. The training also involves breaking the emotional connection to the ability so it can’t activate upon an intense emotional flair - thus putting the Misterican in a place of danger should it stay active for too long.

He wasn't expecting to gain a friend while being enlisted but here he is. Here he is in fact with Majuri Maanjäristys breathing down his neck. It wasn't - his fault - not entirely any way. He didn't think it would be that much of a problem. Yes he did but he just didn't think he would get caught. But it's hard not to get caught when you're fainting during combat practice. They wanted to know just about much control he had over his magic. They wanted to know just exactly what he was capable of and he held a tap for far too long. Just a few more minutes than he should have and it had him collapsing to the ground in a heap of himself. He's normally so good at keeping track of the time. But that lead to his squad mates scraping him off the ground and taking him to a medic....and that lead to people asking questions. Far too many questions and it was hard to hide it all now. It was hard to hide it all when they could finally hear the problem with his heart. He woke to Majuri Maanjäristys leaned over his bedside with deep brown eyes glaring down at him and a frown he didn't need to see to know it was hanging low on hidden lips. "Want to tell me what's going on, Säteilyä?" Came a disappointed rumble from the living quake of a man. "I - uh - fainted, Sir." And there is yet another rumble of a half growl as he watches strong arms lift to cross over his commanding officer's chest. "You want to tell me why -" He can't look him in the eyes. He can tell from the tone of his voice he knows. He finally knows the truth of all his medical complications and there is no way they didn't follow his medical records down the falsified trail to cover up every ailment that should have prevented him enlisting in the first place.

But what else was he supposed to do? Where else was he supposed to go? He had no family. No friends. No one would give him work and he needed money to survive. He was better off faded if he couldn't find someone who would give him a job and no one he knew was willing to take care of him on his worst of days. Now he really had nothing. Now it really was over because they surely would throw them out of the military now that they knew about his medical complications. "- because I -" "Don't lie to me Säteilyä, we already pulled your records. You've lied enough, don't you think?" And his head drops in shame the best he's able finding himself staring at his lap with the Major leaning over him. "We will discuss the punishment for this and it will be severe. I hope you realize the damage you could have caused to yourself and my men if this had happened on the battlefield. You're lucky we were home when this happened. You have the rest of the night. Collect your things and tomorrow morning we will decide what to do with you." He's gone before he can say another word. He's gone and down the hall and the only thing he's left with is the metaphorical brick in his stomach that doesn't feel very metaphorical at the moment. He's slow to get himself back up, pulling his boots on without saying much or even calling for the doctor because the only thing left for him was the walk of shame back to the dorms so he could collect his things for when they toss him out on his ass. It doesn't matter how good he is at his job now. There's nothing that could save him from his fate... But what is he supposed to do now? Now he really would have nothing. There isn't anyone who could save him from this. Tähti is gunna blow his top when he finds out.

The door to his office is creaking open with someone unannounced. He doesn't remember calling for anyone and he also doesn't remember having any other meetings today. His eyes are filled to the brim with red and blue, and it takes everything within him not to roll them at the sight. "Aurinko, Taivas, what gives me the pleasure of you two fine gentleman today? I don't recall us having a meeting until tomorrow. Surely whatever it is could have waited until then?" The Solar King glowers at the man of silver as one hand comes to slam down on his desk hard. He leans over to fix molten gold with been navy all while his prime stands just behind him. "No it cannot wait Sumu. Not when it is in regards to my son. Also you will address my binds correctly. That is Kenraali Taivas to you, we've had this discussion a thousand times." And he can feel his mood sour by the second as Aurinko yells. Fine, whatever, let the child get it all out of his system before he changes his mind. "Heavens, Aurinko sit down. Let's discuss. I'm sure this about The Child of White - " "Pilvi." " - Not Prince Usva. Is that correct?" He sighs as he lets his lips part ever so slightly while the eldest man leans back in his chair and laces his hands together on his desk. "My son has a name, Sumu." "I heard you. Anyways, about the child - what has that fire in your belly so stirred up, Poikani?" (my boy) "Sumu I am literally the King now. I'm not a boy anymore." There is a heavy sigh through parted lips as the King sets down and silver brows upturn at the younger man's statement. "I know I know, Aurinko. You came about your son. What has you so angry?" "Sielu says you were scolding my son for playing in the puddles from the storm this morning and that you called him a sacrifice which had him in a fit of tears that made him run away from Revon."

There's another sigh again as the elder shifts in his seat and he frowns before taking a long sip of tea from the cup on his desk. "Well that is distressing, isn't it? The child really shouldn't be running away from his prime. Tulet needs to keep better track of him." There is the shifting sound of armor behind that of the Solar King, as a step forward is taken only for a hand to be raised. "Taivas." Comes the Knight's name firmly. "Sumu, you're not speaking of any of my knights with disrespect, are you? You are aware our military answers to The Crown, not The Church, yes?" "Of Course, Your Majesty. I know where their allegiance lies but we can all agree that everything we all do is for the good of Misterica can we not? " He's sighing with parted lips again as he takes another long drink of his tea turning back to the King with a smile on his lips. "Um - yes - of course. It's all for the good of Misterica...." "My Lord?" The General chimes behind, as he tenses in place again. "So then - would you like some tea while we discuss?" "I - sure, I'll take some tea and we can work this whole situation out. I'm sure we can come to some sort of agreement." "Of Course, Your Majesty. I'm sure by the end of this we'll be seeing eye to eye once again."
