At Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Washington for Seattle University and Loyola Marymount. Last stop on this weekend trip for me is this cool little ballpark in the woods in a park just outside Seattle. Very steep grandstand and a quirky little park I like despite the chainlink backstop.

At Patterson Baseball Complex in Spokane, Washington for Gonzaga and Portland. Second game of my eastern WA college doubleheader, and a really nice little park in a city I’ve always liked visiting.

At Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman, Washington for Washington State and Gardner-Webb. Had a nice drive from Portland through the Columbia River Gorge and central WA, now hoping the rain holds out for this one. A simple little park but with some fun features.

Yeah, I was definitely a bit sticker-shocked when I went to buy tickets. I know these new ballparks aren’t cheap but I definitely wish MiLB prices weren’t getting so high in some places.

At Hillsboro Hops Ballpark in Hillsboro, Oregon for @hillsborohops.bsky.social and Spokane. I liked the Hops old park (right next door, hosting Portland State softball at this exact moment) but this is a really nice new park. Excited that it’s finally MiLB season again!

At Frank Vieira Field in West Haven, Connecticut for the University of New Haven and Stony Brook. A ridiculously nice March day to see the newest D1 team. A pretty small ballpark with seating only on the first base side, but I like the dugout scoreboard facing the fans.

Dan is right, Cardines Field is awesome. Awesome old grandstand, wild outfield fence dimensions, great location in a cool city. Glad you all are getting to check it out. Always excited to see more NECBL teams featured on the podcast (Go Mainers!)

At Estadio Hiram Bithorn in San Juan, Puerto Rico for Cangrejeros de Santurce & San Juan. If a league has two teams sharing a ballpark I always try to see a game where they play each other and that’s true here. Definitely the most polished park down here and you can see why MLB uses it.

100%, and for context Narváez is a rookie who was previously a backup. He has already played in more games this season than in any previous season in his career. He’s been so good for the Red Sox this season but it makes sense that he’s tiring & his concentration has seemed a tiny bit off recently.

I was at work during the game and went to watch the replay when I got home, only to find out the final score of the completed game is now displayed both prominently on the Home Screen and right at the bottom of the screen during the video replay. Makes watching unspoiled basically impossible

At Allen Ryan Field in Waterville, Maine for the Waterville Woodworkers and Bangor. A small college ballpark for one of the new teams in the Greater Northeast Collegiate Baseball League, but a nice setting and a nice evening for a game.

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.

At Larry H. Miller Field in Provo, Utah for BYU and Utah Valley. My last stop on this short trip is a ballpark I’ve had on my bucket list for quite a while. One of the best scenic views of any park I’ve ever been to with the mountains right on top of the field.

At Don Weir Field at Peccole Park in Reno, Nevada for Nevada and San Francisco. Always a treat to find a Monday ballgame while planning a trip. A pretty simple college ballpark here with nice views of the mountains and casinos.

It’s been a bit, but happy to be back at a ballgame! At The Ballpark at America First Square in South Jordan, Utah for @saltlakebees.bsky.social and Reno. Still a bit under construction in places, but it is a very nice ballpark with the gorgeous view you’d expect in Utah.

I don’t see it ever returning as a professional league unfortunately, but if you like the vibe of that league I heartily recommend a Perfect Game League roadtrip. Definitely the feel of what lower level MiLB used to be. I do very much wish the Lowell Spinners were still around though

There are some really nice parks in Michigan. I also love WV, just a super pretty state even if there are less ballparks than MI.
